Samsung is now releasing the latest April 2024 security patch for its Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S20 FE smartphones on the Verizon network in the United States. This update aims to enhance the overall system security and stability, providing users with a better experience.
The April 2024 security patch addresses over 40 issues, making these devices more secure and reliable. It primarily focuses on resolving problems related to the Storage Manager Service, out-of-bounds write vulnerabilities, and other critical fixes.
Galaxy S23 FE users on Verizon will receive the update with the One UI build version S711USQS3CXD2, while Galaxy S20 FE users will get the update with the PDA version G781VSQSDHXD2. This update will soon be available in all eligible markets for these devices.
To check for and install the update on your Galaxy S23 FE or S20 FE, follow these steps:
- Go to your device’s Settings app.
- Navigate to the “Software update” section.
- Tap on “Download and install.”
