Samsung rolls out One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy S21 FE Exynos models

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for the Exynos variants of the Galaxy S21 FE. Previously, the update was released for the Snapdragon models. The update is currently available in Thailand and is expected to expand to more countries soon.

The Exynos version of the Galaxy S21 FE is receiving the One UI 6.1 update with build version G990EXXU8FXD3, and the installation package size is around 2.2GB.

What’s new in One UI 6.1?

One UI 6.1 brings enhanced features related to AI, or as they call it, Galaxy AI. There are features for managing and editing photos and videos, including:

  • AI-based recommendations for photo improvements
  • Ability to copy elements from one image to another
  • Improved search function within the Gallery app

Along with new features and improvements, the firmware also updates Samsung’s apps to their latest versions and enhances system security and stability.

Galaxy S21 FE users are advised to install this major update to benefit from the new features and improvements. To install the update, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and install.
