Many Galaxy S23 users have been facing touchscreen issues as the touchscreen isn’t registering the touch input properly.
According to the some users, the display is registering a touch only after tapping the Galaxy S23’s display several times. Samsung has stated that it is aware of this issue and it is being caused by the Google app’s Discover feature. Google developers have been working on resolving this issue. Until Google officially solves the bug, Samsung has come up with a temporary solution for the touchscreen issues.
The South Korean OEM has stated that if you want to resolve this issue, you need to update the Google app to the newest version, clear Google app’s data, and restart the device. Once you have done that, the display on your Samsung Galaxy S23 will start registering the touches properly.
For updating the Google app, you should head over to the Google Play Store, tap on the Profile Icon/Profile, then select Manage Apps and Device, and then click on the “Update All” button. For clearing the Google app’s data, you should head over to Settings -> Apps -> Google -> Storage and click on “Clear Data”.
