Unlocked Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 2 get September 2021 security update

Samsung recently updated the international variant of Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 2 with the August 2021 security update. Now, it is being rolled out to the unlocked variant in the US. 

While unlocked Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 2 are receiving August 2021 security update, a bunch of Galaxy phones have already received the September 2021 security update, including Galaxy A21s, Galaxy M31, Galaxy A52s 5G, and more.

The new security update for unlocked Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 2 is being rolled out to all the US carrier networks including AT&T, Comcast, C-Spire, Sprint, Bluegrass Cellular, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip on these networks is receiving the August 2021 security update bundled with the firmware version F700U1TBU4EUH6.

Unlocked Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Fold 2 new update

Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is receiving the August 2021 security patch with the firmware version F916U1UEU2EUH8. As of now, we don’t have the changelog. The update might also include One UI 3.1.1.

Samsung has also started sign up for One UI 4.0 beta for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra users in South Korea. It brings new animated stickers for AOD, a new charging effect, a clean layout of the camera app, new Digital Wellbeing features, and more.
