Android 14 Beta Program for Vivo X90 Pro officially goes live

After the official announcement of the Android 14 second beta update, different smartphone OEMs have started testing the latest version of Android OS on their high-end smartphones. Vivo, the Chinese manufacturer has also announced the Android 14 Beta Program for Vivo X90.

On its official website, Vivo has shared the details for the Android 14 Beta Program for Vivo X90. According to the details, any Vivo X90 Pro owner will be able to participate in the testing program. The OEM says that it is releasing the first beta of Android 14 and the incremental updates will get released throughout the summer. The stable update will later be released once the Android 14 update is officially released.

Coming to the features and changes, then Android 14 will come with a number of new and exciting features including better battery life, smart scaling, app cloning, predictive back gestures, restrict access for photos and videos, security enhancements, and more.

If you’re a Vivo X90 Pro user who hasn’t received the update yet, you should be patient as you’ll be receiving it in the coming days and weeks. The stable build for the update will be rolled out soon once the testing phase is complete. You can expect to receive the OTA update notification soon. In case the notifications aren’t working, you can manually check for the update in the Settings menu.

You can also manually update your Android 14 beta by sideloading the download package shared by the developers. Of course, you will have to take a backup of important as there is a chance of losing data during the manual sideloading.
