The budget-oriented all-rounder smartphone from Asus called Zenfone Max Pro M1 was one of the popular and critically acclaimed best budget smartphone in 2018. Then the device got several price cuts due to the more popularity, user-base and of-course the appreciation needed.
As the handset came with Android 8.1 Oreo with the Pure Android UI, Asus has promised to deliver the faster software update in the future. The company also did that by providing the Android 9.0 Pie update in 2019 and currently, the handset is getting the latest Android OS version as well. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Android 10 Update Released officially and you can download the update file from this article also.
The update is as usual rolling out in batches and will take some time to arrive completely. Meanwhile, some of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 users have mentioned that the latest Android 10 update is live in a couple of regions like India, France, and other countries as well. However, the update still comes with November 2019 Android Security Patch Level which is quite outdated for now. And most importantly, previously the handset has already received the December 2019 security patch level while running on Android 9 Pie.
Although, there is no specific reason mentioned yet from the company for this downgrade in the security patch level. We can expect that the next update will arrive soon for the Zenfone Max Pro M1 with the latest security patch level. Though some of the users have also provided the firmware download link on social media. But ASUS Mobile Division, Responsable Technique France and a Twitter handle @OlivierVongxay has confirmed the update.
