Method 1: Log out of the game

  • Head over to the battle.net website
  • Now, click on the profile icon on the top right
  • In the drop-down list, you’ll have to select Log Out
  • Once you have logged out, now log back in
  • Check the coins to see if they’ve been credited to your account

Method 2: Clear the cache

  • Close the battle.net desktop app and all Blizzard apps
  • For closing the Blizzard background processes, you must launch the Task Manager
  • To do that, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc simultaneously
  • Under Processes, you’ll have to right-click on agent.exe
  • Then, choose “End Task” from the drop-down menu
  • Initiate the Run dialog by pressing Windows + R keys
  • In the Run box, give the following command –

  • Press Enter for opening the Cache folder
  • Look for the folder that is named “Blizzard Entertainment”
  • Now, delete it
  • Log back into the game

  • Click on the profile icon on battle.net for extending the drop-down list
  • Now, click on Account Settings
  • In the new screen, you should click on Security on the left panel
  • Once the Security screen opens up, scroll down to the bottom and then press “Log out from all devices”
  • Sign back into the desktop app and the Overwatch 2 client

Method 4: Reinstall the game

  • Right-click on the Windows icon before selecting Apps and Features
  • In the new screen that appears, scroll down to the battle.net desktop app
  • Now, right-click and press “Uninstall”
