  • Choose Apply update from ADB.

Step 14: Sideload the ROM

Back on your computer type the following command in the terminal:

adb sideload ‘C:\Android\platform-tools\update.zip’.

This command initiates the installation process.

Step 15: Installation Process

The installation will commence. If you encounter an error double check that you have downloaded the correct build. If issues persist, try different cables, USB ports or PCs.

Step 16: Reboot and Clear Cache

  • After the update process completes execute adb reboot recovery once more.
  • Navigate to Wipe cache partition and select Yes.
  • Finally choose Reboot system now.
