The Galaxy A54 5G also known as the [SM-A546B (OXM OMC)] may now boot from a custom ROM. You may find a download link for it here. However for safety concerns it is best to wait until the official release in November 2023.

How to install the One UI 6 Beta ROM
Step 1: Download the Update File
- Visit XDA Forums and find the One UI 6 Beta ROM for your specific device.
- Download the correct build for your device.
Step 2: File Management
- Locate the downloaded file on your computer.
Step 3: Enable File Extensions
- Open File Explorer
- Go to View and enable File name extensions.
Step 4: Rename the File
- Right click the downloaded file select Rename and change the file name to update.zip (including the file extension).

Step 7: Connect Your Phone
- Connect your Samsung device to your computer using a USB cable.
- If device doesn’t connect consider installing Samsung drivers from the Smart Switch for PC application.
Step 8: USB Debugging Authorization
- If prompted on your device allow USB debugging and consider enabling Always allow from this computer if it is your personal PC.
Step 9: Move the Update File
Move the update.zip file to C:\Android\platform-tools for easy access.
Step 10: Access Windows Terminal or PowerShell
- Right click on the Start Button and choose Windows Terminal (Admin) or PowerShell (Admin).
Step 11: Checking Device Connection
- In the terminal type adb devices and execute the command.
- If you didn’t enable Always allow from this computer previously a pop up will appear on your device.
- Tap Allow to continue.
Step 12: Reboot to Recovery Mode
- To reboot your device into Recovery Mode type adb reboot recovery in the terminal.
Step 13: Apply Update from ADB
- In Recovery Mode use your device volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select.
- Choose Apply update from ADB.
Step 14: Sideload the ROM
Back on your computer type the following command in the terminal:
adb sideload ‘C:\Android\platform-tools\update.zip’.
This command initiates the installation process.
Step 15: Installation Process
The installation will commence. If you encounter an error double check that you have downloaded the correct build. If issues persist, try different cables, USB ports or PCs.
Step 16: Reboot and Clear Cache
- After the update process completes execute adb reboot recovery once more.
- Navigate to Wipe cache partition and select Yes.
- Finally choose Reboot system now.
Step 17: Bug Reporting
