Now, one of the mid-range series from Sony is the Sony Xperia X series which saw the launch of two new smartphones last year and the company named these smartphones as the Sony Xperia X and the Xperia X Compact.

Now, note that the update has started to roll out for both the Xperia X and Xperia X Compact where the Xperia X’s models F5121 and F5122 get the update whereas the Xperia X Compact with model number F5321 gets the latest update.As the update to the devices comes with Android Oreo, it should be known that the update installs Android Oreo on the smartphone along with all the features that come with Android Oreo such as Picture in Picture mode, Autofill, Doze mode and revamped notification center.

Other than this, it should be noted that the latest update comes with the January security patch which is the latest security patch released by Google.
