In that case, using an Apple AirTag can be helpful but what to do if the AirTag battery runs out? You can follow easy steps to replace Apple AirTag battery.

The best part is that an Apple AirTag runs with a replaceable battery which is quite commonly accessible in the online and offline market. We should also mention that the AirTag replaceable battery costs less than 1 dollar (INR 30-40) which makes it more suitable for users to purchase and replace every year. Which Battery You will Require for AirTags?

Apple’s AirTag uses a CR2032 lithium CV coin battery (3V) which is commonly known as a ‘CMOS’ battery. This specific CR2032 CMOS battery is used in remote controls, radios, computer motherboards, toys, calculators, car key fobs, electronic accessories, door chimes, LED lights, pedometers, calorie counters, stopwatches, and more.

And this same CR2032 lithium CV coin battery can also be used on Apple AirTags quite easily. Apple recommends using a CR2032 battery that uses a bitter coating so that it doesn’t cause any health hazards to children by discouraging accidental ingestion. Currently, Duracell manufactures bitter-coating cell batteries.

If you don’t have children to mess with your AirTags or the CR2032 battery, you will find plenty of brands to choose from. You may find CR2032 in any stationary or electronics shop. Otherwise, order it online.
