What is AirTag?
AirTag is essentially a small, coin-shaped device created by Apple that uses Bluetooth and GPS technology to help you find lost items. By pairing the AirTag with the Find My App on your iPhone, you’ll be able to track the location of your tagged items or sound a siren for locating them.
- Open the “Find My” app. If you haven’t downloaded it, you can do that from the App Store. Once you’re in the app, tap on the “Items Tab” option at the bottom.
- In the list of items, you should select the AirTag that you want to share with others.
- Then, scroll down until you get the “Share This AirTag” section and click on the “Add Person” option.
- Tap on the “Continue” button to move along with the process of sharing the selected AirTag with others.
- The app will open a prompt to select the contacts that you want to share the AirTag with. Here, you’ll be able to select up to 5 contacts with whom you can share the AirTag. Now, choose the desired contacts.
- Once the desired contact is chosen, press “Send”.
- The screen will return to the “Share This AirTag” section and display the list of people that the AirTag is being shared with.
