Galaxy A01, Galaxy A20, and Galaxy A52s pick up October 2021 security update

In the software department, One UI 4.0 might be the current focus for Samsung, but the company has not slowed down the rollout speed of the October 2021 security update. The newest security update has now started rolling out to Samsung Galaxy A01, Galaxy A20, and Galaxy A52s.

According to Sammobile, the new OTA update for Galaxy A01 is currently rolling out in Russia. Over the next few days, it should start hitting more regions. The update comes bundled with the firmware version A015FXXU5BUJ1 and brings nothing more than just the October 2021 security patch.

The October 2021 security update for Galaxy A20 is reportedly rolling out in the Sprint and T-Mobile networks in the US. It can be identified by the firmware version A205USQSABUJ1. Currently, we don’t have the complete list of changes. However, it might include stability improvements and general bug fixing.

Samsung Galaxy A01, A20, A52s 5G October 2021 security update

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is getting the newest security patch in multiple regions, including Switzerland, Bulgaria, and Germany. It is bundled with the firmware version A528BXXU1AUI8. The October 2021 security patch for Samsung phones fixes over 60 vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy.

Samsung Galaxy A01 was released in 2019 with Android 9 Pie; Galaxy A20 launched last year with Android 10 OS, and the Galaxy A52s was launched a couple of months back with Android 11 OS. The Galaxy A01 and Galaxy A20 have received major upgrade(s), and are currently running Android 11 OS.
