Galaxy F22 gets February security update; Galaxy A72’s latest update reaches UAE

Samsung Galaxy F22 is the company’s latest device to receive the February 2022 security patch update. The South Korean giant is also rolling out the March security update and has not stopped sending the February update to those Galaxy phones who haven’t received it yet.

The Galaxy F22 is receiving the February 2022 security patch update in India. It can be identified by the firmware version E225FXXU4AVB1. The update improves system security and privacy, and updates five stock apps – Samsung Notes Add-ons, Samsung Internet, Samsung Notes, Samsung Members, and Calculator.

Samsung Galaxy A72, on the other hand, has started receiving the February 2022 security update in UAE. The update started rolling out in Asia, Europe, and Australia earlier this month, and now UAE. In addition to a new security patch, the update also adds the RAM Plus feature to increase the amount of RAM by using internal storage. This feature helps in better multitasking.

The February security update for Galaxy A72 also updates 8 stock apps, which includes – Samsung Notes Add-ons, Galaxy Wearable, Samsung Notes, Samsung Internet, SmartThings, Samsung Members, Calculator, and Voice Recorder. The latest build comes with the firmware version A725FXXU4BVB4.

If you’re a Samsung Galaxy F22 or Galaxy A72 user in the above-specified region, then you might have already received the February update. If you haven’t, then manually update your phone by navigating to Settings >> Software updates.
