Samsung has done impressive work this year and at the end of this year, the company has started rolling out new year’s security patch for the Galaxy Tab S5e model. Currently, the update is available in the Latin America region (Brazil/Uruguay/Panama) and will soon roll-out to other regions as well. Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e January 2020 Security Patch brings the new software version T725XXS1ASL2 based on Android 9 Pie.
However, the official update isn’t uploaded on the Galaxy Tab S5e (SM-T725) page. Therefore, we don’t have an official update changelog yet. But the security patch update will fix system bugs and improves the system security for sure.

If you’re one of the Galaxy Tab S5e Brazil variant users and don’t want to wait further, you can install the ROM manually. Meanwhile, the users can check for the OTA update via Settings – About Phone – Software update.
