Honor V40 leaked render shows a highly curved edge display

Honor is gearing up to launch its first flagship smartphone as an independent company. Recent leaks suggest that Honor V40 may announce on January 12. Ahead of the launch, a render of the phone leaks on Weibo showcasing the highly curved design.

The render does not reveal the complete design of Honor V40, but we can see the phone has a sim tray, a microphone, and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. The company seems to have used metallic frame for the Honor V40. Chinese tipster WHYLAB reveals that V40 uses a dual-surface flexible AMOLED ring screen.

Recent reports suggest that Honor V40 could come with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate which is the highest of any smartphone. The smartphone reportedly has the code name YOK-AN10 which recently appeared on 3C certification with 66W fast charging. It is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset.
