How to Take a Screenshot on Google Pixel Fold

The Google Pixel Fold, Google’s latest foldable gadget, is a remarkable device. However, some users may encounter difficulties with navigation and completing daily tasks.

One potentially challenging aspect is the process of taking screenshots, which is crucial for capturing important information or sharing entertaining memes with others.

Sometimes you need to take a screenshot. Maybe you want to remember something for later, share work data, or send a funny picture to a friend. Screenshots are used every day. We’ve listed the key ways to take a screenshot on both the inside and outside screens of the Pixel Fold.

Let’s start with the first way.

Way 1: Use Buttons for a Screenshot

One common way is to use button combinations. To screenshot on the Pixel Fold, go to the screen you want, then press the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time. After you take the screenshot, you’ll see some options for things like editing and deleting. This button combination also works on some other phones. If it doesn’t, try the Power and Volume Up buttons. If your Pixel Fold’s buttons don’t work, there are other ways.

Way 2: Use Google Assistant

If your buttons don’t work, you can use Google Assistant. Make sure it’s set up, go to the screen you want, open Google Assistant (either swipe up from the bottom center or say “Hey Google”), and tell it to take a screenshot. You can use this way in most apps.

Way 3: Long Screenshot

If you want to screenshot a whole webpage that can’t fit in one screen, you can take a long or scrolling screenshot. This helps when you need to screenshot long content. Keep in mind, not all apps let you do this. First, open the page or app you want and load all the content. Then, take a regular screenshot. If there’s more content, you’ll see a ‘Capture More’ button. Tap this button, adjust the window to include what you want, and then save it.

All the screenshots you take on the Pixel Fold are saved in the Screenshot Folder. You can find it in the DCIM or Pictures folder. Or, you can see all your screenshots in the Photos app, or go to Files app > Images > Screenshots. In the Gallery app’s Screenshot section, you can share, edit, look at, or delete screenshots.
