Huawei is all set to launch the Nova 8 series on December 23. The company is expected to unveil the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro in the series. Now, a reliable Chinese tipster goes by the name Digital Chat Station has shared key specifications of the Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro.
As per the leak, Nova 8 will feature a 90Hz OLED display whereas the Nova 8 Pro has a 120Hz OLED panel. Both the devices will retain the same Kirin 985 chipset from its predecessor Nova 7 series. The Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro has a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The Pro model has an additional Vlog mode feature.
Nova 8 has a thickness of 7.64mm, which puts the phone in the category of slimmest smartphones. Both the smartphone supports 66W of fast charging. The Kirin 985 chipset is a slightly downgraded version of Kirin 990 SoC. Rumours are that Huawei is using the in-house Kirin chipsets at a high price due to the shortage of chipsets.
