How to download and install the One UI 6 beta update on Supported Samsung Devices?

  • First, you need to download the Android 14-based One UI 6 Beta update for your device –
  • Go to where you downloaded the file
  • At File Explorer, you need to go to View, and then Show and enable “File name extensions”
  • Right-click on the file before clicking on “Resume”
  • Rename the .bin file to “update.zip”
  • A warning might appear, so you should click on “Yes”
  • Download and install ADB, making sure that you have “C:\Android\platform-tools” added to “Path” in the System variables
  • In your device, head over to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information
  • Tap on the build number repeatedly until Developer Options are enabled
  • Return to Settings and then tap on Developer Options at the bottom
  • Scroll down and then enable “USB Debugging” before tapping on “OK”
  • Connect your device to your PC
  • You can enable the “Always allow from this computer”
  • Tap on “Allow”
  • Return to the PC before moving the “update.zip” file to “C:\Android\platform-tools”
  • Then, right-click on the Start button
  • Now, click on Windows Terminal or PowerShell
  • In the terminal, you should type “adb devices” before executing it
  • If you haven’t enabled “Always allow from this computer”, the pop up would appear once more on the device
  • Tap on “Allow”
  • Type “adb reboot recovery” before executing it
  • Your device will now boot to Recovery Mode
  • Navigate using the volume buttons and then select the power button, going to “Apply Update from ADB”
  • Back to the PC, you should type: “.\adb sideload “C:\Android\platform-tools\update.zip”” and execute it
  • The installation will begin and One UI 6.0 beta would be installed
  • Once the update process has finished, return to the PC, execute “adb reboot recovery” once more
  • Return to “Wipe Cache Partition” and then select “Yes”
  • Select “Reboot System Now”
