Nubia Red Magic 5G gets certification of TENAA, reveals some key specs

Nubia Red Magic series devices are known for hardcore gaming smartphones and now the Chinese tech brand is on the edge of releasing Nubia Red Magic 5G (Red Devils 5G) in China. The MWC 2020 event has been already canceled or postponed due to the Coronavirus. Currently, the device gets TENAA certification according to the @_the_tech_guy on Twitter and Xiaobai evaluation on Weibo.

The handset will feature a 6.65-inches Full-HD+ 2K display (1080×1920 pixels) with a 144Hz screen refresh rate. It will have a 4400mAh battery with 55W fast charging support. As the name suggests, the handset will come with a 5G connectivity with NSA & SA Dual-Mode 5G. According to the provided images, the model number will be NX659J.

The device will most probably run on Android 10 out-of-the-box with RedMagic OS 3.0 including some gaming modes for increased gaming performance.

Recently, the Nubia Red Magic 5G was spotted on Geekbench testing with an 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM variant. It’s also expected that the device may come with a 16GB RAM variant. Meanwhile, it will be equipped with Snapdragon 865 SoC, Adreno 650 GPU, and more.
