Nubia is going to unveil its upcoming Red Devil 5G smartphone in coming weeks. The President of the company Ni Fei has been teasing some of the main specs and features of the device on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.
On February 1st, Ni Fei has confirmed that Nubia Red Devil 5G will come with first of its kind “air-cooled turbo fast charge” feature. There will be inbuilt fans which will help the device to stay cool. The device will be coming with 55W super fast charge.
According to the president of Nubia, there is a major downside of mobile fast charging technology. The very fast charging cause the heat generation to rise rapidly. Due to the battery protection and temperature rise monitoring mechanism, the charging current will be greatly reduced, resulting in a short duration of high-power charging and a longer overall charging time. This issue can be fixed with some good cooling solution like Nubia’s “air-cooled turbo fast charge” technology.
The other rumours suggest that Nubia Red Devils 5G’s screen will offer 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz options. Red Devils 5G will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 flagship SoC and supports SA and NSA dual-mode 5G. It will the first Snapdragon 865 flagship to support a 144Hz refresh rate display.
