OnePlus 7 & 7 Pro Open Beta 8 with December security patch released

OnePlus is good at releasing regular updates to its devices. The Chinese smartphone company has started rolling out OxygenOS Open Beta 8 update to OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro users. The update brings the latest December 2019 security patch to the devices.

OnePlus 7 Pro was released globally earlier last year whereas OnePlus 7 was released in some selected markets like India. Both the devices have been getting regular updates both major and hot fix. Both the devices have been updated to official Android 10 a few months ago. The latest update addresses various bugs and improves the performance of the device. The new update promises to optimize the camera.

If you want, you can manually check the OTA update on their devices. Go to the device Settings app – Software Updates – Check for update. Currently, the download link isn’t available for this update. So, you may have to wait for it.
