In the middle of November, OnePlus released OxygenOS 13, a stable major software update based on Android 13. It was designed specifically for the OnePlus 9RT smartphone. Starting with OxygenOS F.12, the first firmware update since the massive OxygenOS 13 update has begun rolling out in China from the country’s largest tech company.
Users of the OnePlus 9RT will likely notice the new update, which comes with firmware version MT2111_11_F.12. The OTA update will soon appear in your device’s notification centre.
The tech giant is accelerating the rollout of updates for its mobile devices. The newest update is initially only available to OnePlus 9RT users in the Indian market, but the company plans to roll it out to other countries over time.
According to the changelog, this update was released with the goal of increasing system stability in general. However, this update addresses issues that were negatively affecting the user experience. Except for these, the newest update does not add any new functionality or enhancements. However, after applying this update, you might find that your smartphone performs differently or better than before.
Therefore, it’s a minor but welcome upgrade. If you own a OnePlus 9RT, we advise updating to the most recent firmware. Make sure you set aside at least 18.84 MB of space before you begin.
