OnePlus is sending a new software update to OnePlus Nord 2 that brings the February 2022 security patch. It should fix a bunch of vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy. With the new update, OnePlus Nord 2 has become the company’s first phone to receive the latest security patch.
OnePlus Nord 2 is getting the latest software update with A.17 build version. According to the changelog mentioned in a OnePlus forum post, the update does not bring anything apart from the February 2022 security patch.
The February 2022 security update for OnePlus Nord 2 is rolling out in India, Europe, and North America. As always, the latest OTA release will reach a limited number of users first, followed by a broader rollout in the coming days.

OnePlus Nord 2 was released last year with Android 11-based ColorOS 11.3 skin at the top. It is eligible to receive an Android 12 update, but there’s no official announcement as to when the device will receive the next major OS upgrade.
