OxygenOS 10.5.11/10.5.12 update for OnePlus Nord N10 5G brings March 2021 security patch

OnePlus Nord N10 5G debuted last year as the company’s most affordable 5G phone with Android 10 based OxygenOS 10.5. And, the device is still waiting for its turn to receive Android 11 update. Ahead of the Android 11 (OxygenOS 11) rollout, the OnePlus Nord N10 is now getting a new update that brings March 2021 security patch, several improvements, and bug fixing.

OnePlus Nord N10 5G bags OxygenOS 10.5.9 with January 2021 security patch

As per the official community post, the latest update for Nord N10 5G is rolling out with software version OxygenOS 10.5.10 for the EU region, while the global users are receiving the update with version OxygenOS 10.5.11. This is a minor update and weighs just 113MB in size. 

In addition to a new security patch, the update improves power consumption, performance & stability of Wi-Fi transfer, 5G network stability, and improves the system stability. It also tackles some known issues which are not detailed in the changelog.

As usual, the OTA update is rolling out in an incremental fashion. This means that the update will reach a small percentage of users initially. Once, the company confirms the no critical bugs in the update, then it will plan for a broader rollout.
