OUKITEL, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer which has been known for releasing their smartphones with a mixture of new technology and providing exceptional features at a very low cost has released a new smartphone in their K series. This smartphone has been named as the OUKITEL K5000.
Looking at the design of the smartphone, it omes with a Full Display design same as the ones seen on the Samsung Galaxy S8, Note 8 and every other flagship smartphone launched this year except OnePlus and HTC. OUKITEL says that the OUKITEL K5000 is a perfect combination of ‘big’ and ‘small’.
Looking at the specifications of the smartphone, the K5000 from OUKITEL has a MediaTek MT6750T processor which is clocked at 1.5GHz and this is an Octa-core one. Talking about the major change of the smartphone, the OUKITEL K5000 comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display which has a resolution of 1440×720 pixels which means that the aspect ratio on the smartphone is 18:9. This smartphone also comes with several color options which are Jet Black, Brilliant Blue and Champagne Gold.
In terms of the image processing on the smartphone, there is a single camera on the back as well as the front of the phone. The primary camera on the back of the OUKITEL K5000 is a 13-megapixel one which has a Sony IMX135 sensor and the secondary camera is a 16-megapixel one with flashlight on the front as well. In terms of the storage options, the smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM which has 64GB of Internal Storage. This storage option can also be expanded further up to 128GB via a MicroSD card slot. Other features of the phone include a fingerprint sensor fitted on the back below the camera module. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The OUKITEL K5000 also comes with Dual-SIM support.
It will be sold at $159.99 for retail, but OUKITEL will offer discount for pre-orders. K5000 plans to start presale from October 23rd. Detailed stores and discounts will be announced on OUKITEL official website www.oukitel.com
