OnePlus is sending OxygenOS 10.3.9 update to OnePlus 6 and 6T that brings February 2021 security patch. Additionally, the latest build update the GMS package, fixes known issues and improves system stability for a better user experience.
The update is still based on Android 10. Both the OnePlus 6 and 6T are eligible to receive OxygenOS 11 which is based on Android 11. Soon, the company may release beta builds for early access lovers.
The latest update for OnePlus 6/6T is rolling out in a staged manner. This means that the OTA update will reach a limited number of users. Once the company confirms no critical bugs, it will plan a broader rollout. Users can manually check for the latest package by navigating to Settings >> System >> Updates.
We’ve also added download links for the latest ROM, which can be installed using the local upgrade method. To install the package, navigate to Settings >> System >> Updates >> click menu button and select Local Upgrade >> select downloaded package and install.
