Palworld plans to Prevent Cheaters with additional anti-cheat measures

Palworld has become a trending topic in the Windows and Xbox console gaming community since it was released on January 19, 2024. This open-world co-op RPG is running pretty well even though it’s in the Early Access Stage. However, the co-op title is having issues with hackers or cheaters. Luckily, Palworld plans to prevent cheaters with additional anti-cheat measures very soon.

It looks like the Palworld servers are too congested and exceeding the concurrent player limit most of the time. It’s needless to say that no one can stop the crowd on the game servers and this will eventually cause cheating problems in the multiplayer mode.

The basic hacks like infinite health, flying, or guaranteed Pal captures, etc can also be accessed by cheaters in Palworld which hasn’t even officially arrived yet by the developers. Since the game has been released, thousands of players have been affected by cheating in the co-op mode.

But not anymore because the Palworld team has officially announced their plans to introduce anti-cheat measures on X in the upcoming updates. If we take a deep look at the post, it seems the external layer of the anti-cheat system update will be coming within a month or so.

Pocketpair Inc. will work precisely to recognize potential cheaters or hackers to take strict actions against them, leading to the suspension of their accounts. Meanwhile, another patch update will bring more anti-cheat support to the Palworld servers that will go through the activity monitoring system in the game.

Pocketpair has stated that the team do not accept any kind of fraud or cheating activity in Palworld servers. Even though the development team is taking each issue seriously and taking proper actions against cheating, not everyone will get faster resolutions due to the huge number of player reports.

Hence, the developers apologised for any kind of delay or inconvenience caused to the affected Palworld players. We should also say that interested Palworld players can bypass the anti-cheat measures in single-player, co-op, and fan-hosted servers if they want to.

That means all those specific players can play alone or with friends with cheats without any issues. But who else wants cheaters or hackers in multiplayer games except for the cheaters themselves?
