Poco X3 starts receiving MIUI 12.5 update in India

Xiaomi starts rolling out MIUI 12.5 update to Poco X3 users in India. The software update is based on Android 11 and comes with the firmware version V12.5.2.0.RJGINXM. In addition to the MIUI 12.5 perks, the update brings July 2021 security patch for improving system security and privacy.

As mentioned in the changelog, the software update brings 20 times more rendering power and the response to gesture is now instant. MIUI 12.5 is said to be lighter, faster, and more durable than the previous version. Xiaomi has done several custom model adjustments, which makes the device faster than earlier. 

The Notes application is getting several new features. The dynamic layout implementation is claimed to take typography in Notes to a new level. There are new tools for doodling and sketching. Notes app is getting a new gesture that can easily create notes, tasks, and excerpts anywhere.

Poco X3 users in India have already started receiving the MIUI 12.5 update. However, it may take few days to reach all the units. To manually check for the latest update, navigate to Settings >> About phone and then check for new updates. We have also added a download link for the latest ROM below.
