Realme C31 gets camera improvements with the latest update

Realme C31 is the company’s latest C-series smartphone that came last month. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch to house a 5MP selfie shooter. On the rear side, it features 13MP triple rear cameras. The device is powered by Unisoc T612 SoC and has a 5,000mAh battery to keep its lights on.

Realme C31 has now started picking up its first software update that brings improvements to the camera. It also includes fixes to some known issues. According to the changelog shared by RMUpdate, the first OTA update for Realme C31 improves the color performance of plant scenes and fixes the reddish issue when taking pictures in warm light scenes. The update also includes system stability improvements.

The software update for Realme C31 can be identified by the firmware version RMX3501_11_A.19. The package has a download size of about 300MB.

Like most OTA updates, this one is also being rolled out in a staged fashion. It means that the update will initially reach a limited number of users, followed by a broader rollout in the coming days. To manually check for new updates, head over to the Software update section under the Settings app.

Despite launching in March 2022, the Realme C31 came pre-installed with Android 11 OS. And, there’s no update on when the device will be upgraded to Android 12. Hopefully, it won’t take too long.
