Realme X7 Pro, Realme C21 getting March 2022 security patch update

In recent months, Realme has been quite impressive in terms of rolling out regular software updates. Talking about the March 2022 security patch, it has already reached dozens of Realme phones, and the company has now added two more devices to the list – Realme C21 and Realme X7 Pro.

Realme C21 has started picking up its latest software update with a build version RMX3201_11_C.09. According to an RMUpdate report, the latest update package requires 400MB of internet data. Apart from the March 2022 security patch, the update is unlikely to bring any noticeable changes. Though, it might include general bug fixing and device stability improvements.

Realme X7 Pro users in India have also started picking up the March 2022 security patch with the latest update. It can be identified by the firmware version RMX2121_11_C.08. The changelog also includes improvements to system performance and stability.

As always, the latest OTA update for both Realme X7 Pro and Realme C21 is rolling out in a phased manner. Hence, it might take a couple of days to reach all users. Meanwhile, you can manually check for new updates via Settings >> Software updates.

Realme X7 Pro was launched back in 2020, while the Realme C21 came a year later. Despite being released in different years, both devices came pre-installed with Android 10. Both have already been upgraded to Android 11. Realme has already released Realme UI 3.0 early access program for X7 Pro, while there’s no info on when the Realme C21 will receive its next major OS upgrade.
