Nubia, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is rumored to be working on the Red Magic 8 and Red Magic 8 Pro, which are expected to launch as the world’s first gaming phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. The Red Magic 8 Pro recently appeared in the database of the TENAA certification site, revealing several key specifications.

According to the TENAA listing, the Red Magic 8 Pro will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels. The phone is expected to provide a full-screen experience due to its narrow bezels and lack of a punch-hole.

Under the hood, the Red Magic 8 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform, which is said to offer up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. This is expected to offer a stellar gaming experience, thanks to the LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage that the phone is likely to be equipped with.

In terms of cameras, the Red Magic 8 Pro will feature a 16-megapixel under-display camera for selfies and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit on the back. The phone measures 163.98 x 76.35 x 8.9mm and weighs around 228 grams.

With 3C and TENAA certifications already under its belt, the Red Magic 8 Pro is expected to be officially launched by the end of this year or early next year. This new gaming flagship from Nubia is sure to excite gamers with its powerful specifications and features.
