Yesterday, the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro with model numbers M2012K11AC and M2012K11AC respectively appeared on the TENAA listing. The listing only revealed smartphone images. Now, the TENAA listing is updated with the key specifications of Redmi K40 and K40 Pro.
As per the TENAA listing, both the phones have a 6.67-inch display with a centred punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claims that K40 and K40 Pro have Samsung e4 AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The phones carry a battery with 4420mAh rated capacity and 4520mAh of typical capacity. Redmi K40 and K40 share the same dimension of 163.7 x 76.4 x 7.8mm.
3C listing suggests that both the phone supports 33W fast charging. Recent leaks have revealed that Redmi K40 Pro will feature Snapdragon 888 SoC whereas the non-pro model will get Snapdragon 870 chipset. The Redmi K40 launch will take place on February 25. And, the Pro model will get a separate launch event later this year.
