Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max are receiving a new software update in India. It brings the security patch released in May 2021. Although, this is not the latest security patch but improves system security by fixing a bunch of vulnerabilities.
The new software update for Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max is based on Android 11 and comes with software version V12.5.4.0.RKFINXM. In addition to a new security patch, it also brings Dolby effects for a better audio experience. The unexpected notifications flashes issue in some areas is also getting a fix in the new build.
If you are a Redmi Note 10 Pro or a Note 10 Pro Max user in India, then you might have already received the new build via OTA. If you haven’t, then manually check for the update by heading to Settings >> About phone >> Tap on MIUI 12 icon >> Check for updates.
