How To Issues & Fixes Samsung

How to Remap Galaxy S8 Bixby Button to Google Assistant (New Method)

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, both are the latest flagship offerings from Samsung. With an infinity display, the best specs in the market, a rock solid camera, and a pretty slimmed down software experience, the Galaxy S8 has set out to become, yet again, the best smartphone in the world..for now.

When Samsung unveiled the flagships, it also introduced a new virtual assistant, a direct hit at Google’s own Google Assistant. A lot of people were first skeptical about the ‘innovation’ and just thought they’d skip it like they always do to those billion other useless features that Samsung makes. However, Samsung managed to provide a special button just for Bixby, and people were truly annoyed by it.

Very recently, someone found a way to remap the button to launch the Google Assistant. All was good until Samsung pushed out a blocking update, rendering the app useless. Very very recently, we have yet another app that does the exact thing, but this time, it just launched Google Assistant. So, while triggering the button, you will see a bit of the hideous Bixby, and then pops in Google Assistant, providing better options.

In this guide, we will be taking a look at exactly that. Here is How to Remap Galaxy S8 Bixby Button to Google Assistant.
