People who love the Grand Theft Auto games are super excited to hear about GTA 6. Finally, after lots of guessing and rumors, Rockstar Games told everyone when they can see the first official trailer for GTA 6.
GTA 6 Trailer Release Date
In an announcement on their website, Rockstar stated that the GTA 6 trailer will premiere on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 at 9am Eastern Time. They noted it will mark their 25th anniversary since founding the company in December 1998.
The trailer should provide our first look at what’s in store for GTA 6, which Rockstar has been developing for some time. Few concrete details have been shared about the game’s setting, storyline or gameplay mechanics. However, rumors suggest the story may take place in a city inspired by Miami called Vice City, and feature a female protagonist.
Where Can You Watch the New GTA 6 Trailer?
GTA 6 is poised to be as monumental a release as its predecessor, GTA 5. The latter sold over 150 million copies worldwide and was hugely profitable. Released initially in 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it came to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later on. Rockstar is also developing an enhanced version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles debuting this November.
While an official release date has yet to be announced, some estimates point to GTA 6 arriving in late 2024 or early 2025. It will likely launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, though compatibility with older hardware is unknown.
