The ex-founder of OnePlus, Carl Pei, officially released Nothing Phone (1) in July 2022. The device had impressive specifications in every department like display, camera, software, and hardware.  With the immense success of Nothing Phone (1), fans are already wondering about the launch of its successor. The upcoming Nothing Phone 2 is rumored to have a 120Hz OLED screen, fast charging, a 4,500mAh battery, an IMX890 primary sensor, and more. The Nothing Phone 2 featured a USB Type C 2.0 port with prolonged transfer speeds, so Nothing Phone 2 is expected to fix this issue. Meanwhile, Front camera video recording at 60FPS and 4K resolution could also be supported.

Further, Nothing Phone 2 is expected to carry the same model number A065 while also featuring an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Series SoC and a 5,000mAh battery.

Nothing started testing the Nothing Phone 1 in May 2022 and some creators were able to gain early access to it by June. The following month, the device was out for the public. As Nothing Phone 2 isn’t launching any time soon, it can be assumed that the device won’t be launching in the first half of 2023. If the testing for the Nothing Phone 2 begins by July 2023, the phone could arrive sometime in August.

Expected Price of Upcoming Nothing Phone (2) in India

While many have stated that Nothing could jump ship to a higher price segment and make a device with a flagship SoC like the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, pricing it at 55,000 or higher. This is unlikely at the moment as the company isn’t that big or established yet.

This price should merely be thought of as a rough guess and taken with a pinch of skepticism. There is no official information for the device yet. Nothing Phone 2 is expected to stay at the same launch price (i.e. ₹32,000) if it is a midrange device but if they have multiple meaningful upgrades, the price could be bumped up to ₹39,999.
