In recent months, there has been no match to Samsung when it comes to rolling out software updates. Despite having a significantly large number of mobile phones, the company keeps on sending new updates to its eligible devices. Talking about the July 2022 security patch, it has already been rolled out to dozens of Galaxy phones and the list is expanding with each passing day.
Samsung has now started to roll out the July 2022 security update to the Galaxy A33 5G. It comes with the firmware version A336EDXU2AVG2 and has a download size of just over 400MB. For now, it is rolling out in Malaysia with more countries to follow in the coming weeks.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A33 5G brings the July 2022 security patch. It fixes numerous vulnerabilities of varying severity levels to protect user privacy and data security.
In addition to vulnerability fixes, the device is getting updates to 11 stock applications to offer a better experience. These 11 stock apps are:

If you are a proud Galaxy A33 5G user in Malaysia, it should take not more than a few days for the update to reach your phone, if you have not received it already. You can always go to Settings > Software update and press the Download and install button to update your phone.
