Samsung Galaxy M52 bags February 2022 security patch update

Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy M52 that brings the February 2022 security patch. The latest update fixes numerous vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy.

The February 2022 security update for Samsung Galaxy M52 is reportedly rolling out in India. It can be identified by the firmware version M526BXXS1AVB2. The changelog does not include any other changes other than the February security patch. But, the latest build has a download size of 2.16GB. The package size hints that the update might bundle some more changes.

The February 2022 security patch for Samsung smartphones fixes 2 critical, 29 high, and 15 moderate levels of CVEs and SVEs from Samsung and Google. In addition to this, the update might also include general bug fixing and device stability improvements.

Samsung Galaxy M52 users in India have started picking up the February 2022 security update. If you have not received it yet, head over to the Software Update section under the Settings app to check for new updates.

The Galaxy M52 midranger was launched last year with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 skin. The device is eligible for the Android 12 update, which might get released in the coming months.
