Samsung Galaxy S10, S10e and S10+ get May 2021 security patch update

Samsung started rolling out the May 2021 security patch in late April and became the first OEM to release the latest security patch. Since then, the company has been rolling out the latest security patch at a massive pace. Now, the Galaxy S10 series joins the May 2021 security patch party with the latest update.

The Galaxy S10 series consists of three phones: Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+. The update is currently rolling out in Europe with firmware versions G970FXXUAFUE3G973FXXUAFUE3, and G975FXXUAFUE3 respectively for Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+. We expect the update to reach other regions in the coming days.

The May 2021 security patch for Samsung phones fixes 3 critical CVEs, 24 high CVEs, and 17 moderate security vulnerabilities for better system security. Apart from this, the update patches critical security vulnerability found in devices with Qualcomm 5G modems. If you are a Galaxy S10 series user in Europe then you would have already received the update. If not, then manually check for the update by navigating to Settings >> Software updates.
