Samsung Galaxy S23 series gets April security patch update in India

After Europe, the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra are now receiving the April 2024 security update in India, enhancing overall performance and stability with fixes for over 40 issues that were previously present. This update has already been made available in several other regions, including Canada, the US, and Europe.

The new software update comes with build versions S911BXXS3CXD2 for the Galaxy S23, S916BXXS3CXD2 for the S23 Plus, and S918BXXS3CXD2 for the S23 Ultra. It’s based on the One UI 6.1 software and weighs around 560MB in size.

While the changelog doesn’t mention any new features or changes, the April 2024 security patch addresses several critical vulnerabilities. It fixes one critical and 26 high-priority CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) in the Android operating system, as well as 17 Samsung-specific security vulnerabilities, further enhancing the device’s security.
