Samsung Pushes Second April Update for Galaxy S23 Series

It looks like the April security rollout is not over for Samsung Galaxy S23 series users. The Samsunng Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra are receiving their second software update for April 2024.

As per some reports, the second April 2024 security patch update is currently live in the UAE region, but you can expect it to make its way to more countries pretty soon. As per the official changelog, this OTA aims to further improve system security and stability for enhanced overall performance.

The new firmware versions you’ll get with this update are S918BXXS4CXD8 for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, S916BXXS4CXD8 for the S23 Plus, and S911BXXS4CXD8 for the vanilla Galaxy S23 model.

It seems like this update has addressed some issues which were present in the previous build along with stability improvements.

To install the update, just head to the device’s Settings > Software update > Download and install. If you’re are fine with manual flashing, go through the Samsung stock firmware installation guide to manually install the latest software version depending on your device model.

Before downloading the update, ensure that your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network or has a strong mobile internet connection, and the battery is fully charged.
