The Indian users of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 are still in the queue for MIUI 12 update. In China, the users have already got the MIUI 12 but the other region users will need to wait a bit more. As of now, the Android 10 based MIUI12 for Redmi Note 7 is currently available to pilot testers in India.
Rather than MIUI 12 update, the Redmi Note 7 is receiving September 2020 security patch. The latest update comes with a build number V11.0.5.0.QFGINXM and weighs 431MB in size. We recommend updating your device as soon as you get the update as it will make your device more secure than earlier.
You should receive a notification for the update, or check manually by going to Settings -> About phone -> System update. Alternatively, you can download the latest ROM using the link given below and install it manually.
