T-Mobile Galaxy S6/S6 Edge Gets November 2017 OTA Security Patch

T-Mobile has started releasing a new software OTA update G920TUVU5FQK1 for Galaxy S6 and update G925TUVU5FQK1 for Galaxy S6 Edge.It brings the latest Google’s November 2017 OTA Security Patch Update.The update is still based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The update is now rolling out in the US for T-mobile Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users.If you are a Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge users on T-mobile user then you may have already received the update.You can manually check for the update from Settings > Software update >Download updates manually.If there is no update showing on your device, then wait for few days for the update to come to your device.

Before downloading the update make sure your device has more than 60% battery life left.You should download this update on WiFi network as you may incur charges on Cellular data as there would be additional data that might be used in downloading the update.
