Last month, Samsung started pushing the latest March 2024 security patch update for its compatible Galaxy devices across the globe. There is no doubt that carrier-locked and unlocked variants have received the same update in the last couple of weeks via batches.

Now, it’s time for the USA carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy A52 5G units and more device models will gradually get the patch update in the upcoming weeks. Whereas the premium segment Galaxy devices will start getting the April 2024 patch update soon. If we talk about the update changes, there is no major feature or improvement has been added.

But the locked Galaxy A52 5G units in the US are receiving the firmware version A526USQSCFXC8 which fixes more than 40 security exposures. Out of these, almost 37 fixes have been provided by Google itself to increase the security measurement. In addition, this March 2024 security patch update also included around 9 fixes for more improvements and stability enhancements.

To be specific, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has been released back in 2021 and came with Android 11 out-of-the-box. That indicates the handset will receive one more year of security patch updates as promised by Samsung. However, this Galaxy model has already received the three major Android OS updates since it was launched. So, there is no more scope to get the official Android update on it.
