These Samsung Galaxy Phones Won’t Receive Galaxy AI Features with One UI 6.1

The South Korean tech company Samsung has started releasing the One UI 6.1 update to its eligible Samsung Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and foldable devices. The latest One UI 6.1 update first introduced to the Galaxy S24 lineup models. As the artificial intelligence fever has taken over the world, Samsung has also included Galaxy AI features inside the One UI 6.1 version. But not every Samsung Galaxy model will be eligible to receive the AI features right now. We’ll urge you to check if you’re using any model out of these Samsung Galaxy phones that won’t receive Galaxy AI features with the One UI 6.1 update.

The Galaxy AI features include Circle to search, transcript assist, chat assist, live call translation, and more. After the Galaxy S24 series, the One UI 6.1 update arrives for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and more devices. Samsung has already announced that even the 2022 flagship Galaxy devices will receive the Galaxy AI feature with the One UI 6.1 skin.

The company has already announced that it will provide the One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI features for the 2022 flagship smartphones, which is a good move. A couple of years ago, we thought about getting the next update. We think all useful and highlighted features will arrive with the latest update. But you may ask whether your Samsung Galaxy device can get the Galaxy AI feature or not.

Eligible Samsung Galaxy Devices for Galaxy AI features

It looks like 2022 Samsung Galaxy devices are only eligible to receive the Galaxy AI feature because the latest generation flagship models have already got the same. We’re still not sure about some other flagship models like the Galaxy S21 series, S21 Fan Edition, Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, etc.

Though other Galaxy AI features have been excluded for these models, only the ‘Circle to Search’ feature is added. Multiple other lineup models of Samsung will also receive the latest One UI 6.1 update but no official announcement is available yet.
