Vivo Y31 (4G) and Y51s appears on BIS certification, India launch seems imminent

Two new Vivo Y-series smartphones have been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. The Vivo Y31 (4G) bears model number V2036 and the Y51s has a model number V2031. Getting the BIS certification means that the company may launch the Vivo Y31 (4G) and Y51s in India soon.

Back in July, Vivo unveiled the Y51s in the Chinese market with a price tag of CNY 1,798 ($256). The smartphone offers a 6.53-inch FullHD+ LCD display with a punch-hole cutout for the 8MP selfie camera. Under the hood, it is powered by Exynos 880 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

On the back, it features a triple camera setup which includes a 48MP primary shooter, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro shooter. The battery comes in at 4,500mAh and supports 18W of fast charging through Micro USB. The phone boots Android 10 OS with Funtouch OS 10.5 skin on the top.

There are not many specs known about the Vivo Y31 (4G) . It recently appeared on NBTC, IMDA, and EEC certifications. As of now, that’s all pretty much details we have, but we’ll keep you posted with the latest updates.
