Attention all Xiaomi fans!! Recently, rumours started spreading that Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus is going to come with Snapdragon 821 processor. Only the higher variants would come with Snapdragon 835 chipsets.
However, according to latest reports in China Xiaomi will be launching all the variants of Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus with Snapdragon 835 processor as opposed to the initial rumours. The reports further give us a peak into the specification lists of both the devices.
The leaked specification list shows that Xiaomi Mi 6 comes with a 5.15-inch display screen having 1080p resolution, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4/6 GB RAM, 32/64/128 GB storage and a 3200mAh battery. When it comes to camera department, it has a 19.0 MP rear camera with Sony sensor whereas it has an 8.0 MP front camera also. Mi 6 Plus on the other hand comes with a 5.7-inch display screen with 1080p resolution, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6 GB RAM, 64/ 128 GB of storage and 4500mAh battery. The Mi 6 Plus also features a dual camera setup with two 12.0 MP rear cameras and an 8.0 MP front camera.
According to recent leaks about the pricing of Mi 6, it also came to light that there might be a 256 GB variant of Mi 6 Plus as well. The 256 GB variant will come with 8 GB of RAM which will surely make it one of the most in-demand smartphones of 2017. However, this isn’t concrete yet and for the official announcement, you will have to wait till Xiaomi announces the new Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus next month.
