Xiaomi Mi Health app is a new health and fitness app

Xiaomi’s proprietary Mi Fit app gathers all the data from Mi devices like the Mi Band, Mi or Redmi smartphones and the Mi Scale by connecting via Bluetooth. But the company is working to deliver or overwrite its older app with a new version of an app called Mi Health app. It recently appeared in the latest MIUI beta build and offer features more than the previous version of Mi Fit app.

The Mi Fit app is already available on Google Play officially from so many years. If you’re using any fitness band by Xiaomi, you know about the Mi Fit app. Now, the company wants to replace this app with Mi Health app which is currently available in the latest MIUI China Developer 9.7.23 beta build. The app is currently not installing on Xiaomi device normally. You have to install it as a system application. But soon it will be available for all the Xiaomi devices.

Just like the previous fitness app, you can track your step count, calories burnt, running, sleeping, etc using the new Health application. It offers more advanced sleep time and duration tracking. It can apparently track sleep in the background as well. Users can also set exercise goals and it will provide the Health Scores based on your activity like sleep, step count, and BMI (Body Mass Index), etc. Additionally, you can also increase your goals whenever you reached a certain level.

You have to wait for the official release of the app on the Google Play Store or Mi App store. Till then, stay tuned for info.
