Vivo, the chinese smartphone manufacturer has been doing quite well in India ever since the launch of the Vivo V5 Plus and the company has spent heavily on advertising the smartphone with signing one of India’s superstar to promote the phone. Vivo had already signed a two-year deal last year to become the official sponsor of the IPL and this year is the 10th Anniversary of the IPL in India. To celebrate this and get some benefits from the smartphone and cricket lovers in India, Vivo has launched an exclusive IPL edition smartphone in India. This phone is essentially the same phone as the Vivo V5 Plus with a fresh coat of paint.

On the rear, Vivo V5 Plus bears a 16-megapixel sensor with LED flash. It comes with a fingerprint scanner on the Home Button. The Vivo V5 Plus (Review) sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, and is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC that’s coupled with 4GB of RAM.
