Android 7.0 Nougat update starts rolling out for Galaxy S6 Edge+ in India and Sri Lanka

After the release of Android Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users in India yesterday, Samsung is getting set to roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat updates for its Galaxy S6 Edge+ users in India. It has been reported that few users of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ in India have started receiving the Nougat update.

Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge+ (SM G928G) has started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update with the build number G928GDDU3CQC7. The update will also consist of the installation of latest March Android security patch for your device.

This new update released by Samsung has been widely publicized and would soon be available for all the users in a matter of days. If you are one of those impatient users who haven’t received the notification for the latest update, you can manually check for it on your device. You should go to Settings -> About device -> System Update.

The new update is not only being released in India, Samsung has also released this latest Nougat update for its Galaxy S6 Edge+ users in Sri Lanka and most parts of Europe. The update is scheduled to be released to the Canadian Galaxy S6 Edge+ users near April 10th. This new update will come with plenty of changes and improvements from the previous version. The file is more than 1 GB in size, so make sure that your device has more than 50% battery percentage before you begin to download this update.
